A HAIR expert has shared some of their tried and true tricks to grow eyebrows.
But if you need a little extra help, he suggested three additional tips to make them look thicker.

Based in Istanbul, Dr. Balwi used his many years of experience in the industry to share hair revitalization advice with The U.S. Sun.
REAL REASONS
There could be many reasons why your eyebrows may be thinning or not as full as they used to be.
“Hair shedding from eyebrows can also be the result of a poor diet or a nutrient deficiency,” he said.
He explained that our eyebrows need a variety of vitamins and minerals to grow healthily.
One of the first things you should do is consult with your medical practitioner to make sure that you don’t have any sort of deficiency.
“Additionally, a balanced diet should help with maintaining healthy hair growth,” he added.
In particular, he suggested incorporating biotin and keratin into your diet.
“They are well known to support the growth of your hair, including eyebrows, and thicken its structure, helping to combat hair shedding,” he said.
A budget-friendly and easy-to-follow way to try to grow your eyebrows is to use a growth serum.
Dr. Balwi advised using it daily for optimal results, once in the morning and once in the evening.
If those more natural methods don’t work for you, Dr. Balwi recommended a few more intense measures.
They include microblading, eyebrow hair transplants, and eyebrow laminating have made brows look thicker almost instantly.
REAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Microblading
The expert said that eyebrow embroidery, also known as microblading eyebrows, is a relatively new eyebrow treatment.
“During the procedure, tattoo ink is pressed into microincisions in the eyebrow area made with a surgical blade,” he explained.
The effects aren’t permanent and eventually fade over time.
The hair-like strokes require yearly top-ups and can sometimes be stretched to every 18 months.
Although brow embroidery achieves fantastic immediate results, Dr. Balwi admitted that there are some negative side effects.
Microblading requires touch-ups once a year and could cause more thinning over time[/caption]For example, the dye does smudge and fade over time.
“Also, due to all the micro-cuts made in the brows, the skin becomes scar tissue which causes damage to the existing hair follicles,” he added.
Therefore, microblading may seem like a good solution in the short term, but it can cause long-lasting damage which stops your hair from growing back.
Eyebrow hair transplant
On the flip side, Dr. Balwi explained that eyebrow transplants insert hair follicles from the back of your head into your brows.
“The hairs are implanted in the precise direction of hair growth for a natural look,” he said.
“This eyebrow treatment basically puts new hairs into your brows to make them fuller, thus restoring the thicker eyebrows that have been lost.”

Dr. Balwin said that an eyebrow transplantation treatment is the only permanent solution that achieves brows with a natural texture and dimension.
“The results are far more natural due to the texture of the hair, compared to the flat results of tattooing,” he added.
Eyebrow lamination
Eyebrow lamination is a new popular trend that creates the “appearance of full, slicked-up brows with a glossy finish” with minimal effort.
It looks similar to how people appear in magazines and on social media.
Dr. Balwi explained that eyebrow hairs are brushed vertically with a shiny setting lotion to achieve a “fuller, natural brow.”
“This is good after an eyebrow treatment because it helps to train your brow to maintain the desired direction of growth,” he explained.
